Creator 2 Creator Outreach (Girl-to-Girl / G2G)
Core idea
Standard agency cold-DM outreach is dead: more agencies than creators, creators distrust agencies in their DMs. G2G outreach bypasses this via pattern interruption: you DM creators from an account that looks like a female OF creator, build genuine rapport as a "friend," surface their pain, then softly refer them to "your agency." Trust and authenticity close the deal, not volume — quality signings over spamming 1,000 DMs to sign one low-quality creator.
Key concepts/frameworks
- Pattern interruption: you're not another agency DM; you're "just another girl." Women trust women more than agencies.
- Gym/creatine analogy: a trusted person recommending a product after rapport converts; a stranger pitching doesn't. Demonstrate value before asking.
- Power position in sales: enter as expert/helper, never beggar. The person with the power position closes; the creator should feel she's applying to the agency.
- Conversation flow (7 phases): (1) opener/small talk → (2) find common ground (1–3 days) → (3) natural transition to OF → (4) find pain (time, revenue, fear, burnout) via open questions → (5) amplify/quantify pain ("childish curiosity" — ask like a 5-year-old, don't convince) → (6) soft pitch via hero's journey ("I had the same problem… my agency fixed it") → (7) funnel to agency (CTA).
- Two creator scenarios after pitch: interested → fake WhatsApp handoff to agency; lukewarm → send agency reel/link, switch topic, follow up in 2 days with new value.
- "Less is more": better to pitch 10% less and be 100% more authentic; never pitch immediately after first reply; don't burn leads — bad timing → back off, follow up later.
- Two viable outreach methods in course: G2G (this lesson) and personalized "sniping" Loom audits showing competence.
- Data over feelings: track everything; A/B test openers; half of signings come from follow-ups.
Action items
- Set up G2G account: buy aged Instagram account (no "recently created" badge); upload 20–40 posts; buy 20–50K followers; set to PRIVATE; female profile pic; OF link in bio; bio explaining privacy ("Banned at 150K" / "backup account"); follow 200–300 accounts (~30 min total).
- Train your research account's For You page: follow/interact only with OF creators in your target niche; watch 3–4 videos per creator; ignore memes/gaming; use "Similar Profiles" and Explore page.
- Build lead list in a Google Sheet: 50+ qualified creators week 1; note funnel/branding, content quality, posting frequency, authenticity signals (gut check for agency-run accounts).
- Send 10–20 openers week 1, A/B testing 3 variants; daily routine: 10 min find leads, 15 min send 5–10 openers, 25 min reply to conversations, 10 min update tracker.
- Outsource lead-finding to a VA/partner (e.g. $50 per lead that closes).
- Follow up non-interested leads after 2 days with fresh value (manager's tip, Loom video, funnel fix).
- When creator messages the agency: get her on a call fast, frame it as "we'll fix your pain + check mutual fit — we have benchmarks, you're applying too."
SOPs/scripts/templates
- Openers: "I saw you were in [City/Bali], any must-visit spots?" / "OMG your dog is so cute, what breed?" / "Your video quality is fire, what camera do you use?" / "That makeup is giving! Where did you get that foundation?" / (edgy) "There's a fake account using your pictures…" Reword before mass use.
- OF transition: "Hey, you're also doing OF? How's that going for you? I've been doing it for 3 years…"
- Pain amplification: "You chat 2 hrs/day making $5K… chatting 24/7 would be ~$50K/month. You're missing out on $45K/month?! How long has this been going on?"
- Soft pitch (hero's journey): "I had the same problem! Scared of chatbots ruining my brand… but my agency uses real chatters, now I just chill and make more money, zero fan complaints. Maybe look into something like that? After 2 months I would've burned out — I value my mental health too much."
- Handoff (interested): "Let me call my agency real quick… [fake WhatsApp screenshot] They said they're usually full but can take a look at your account! Here's their contact…"
- Handoff (lukewarm): "No worries! But check out their Instagram reel [link]. Can't hurt to look 😊" → follow up in 2 days.
- Agency call frame: "We're not actively signing everyone; we have specific benchmarks. Goal of the call: help fix the problem; if mutual fit, we can free up a spot."
- Follow-up value drop: "My manager looked at your account — you're losing leads in your funnel; switching to Linktree/Beacons could 2x subs. He recorded a Loom for you."
- Tracking sheet columns: creator name + IG handle, follower count, date first DM'd, opener variant used (1/2/3…), reply status, referred to agency (Y/N), switched to WhatsApp (Y/N), signed (Y/N).
Tools
- Instagram (primary: For You page training, Similar Profiles, Explore), Twitter/X (train feed; find IG-banned creators), Reddit (NSFW subreddits).
- CelebForum (creator lists), OnlyFinder (search/new accounts), Outseeker (creator discovery).
- Canva (logos — cited as the old, ineffective way), Google Sheets (tracking), WhatsApp/Telegram (handoff), Loom (value videos), Linktree/Beacons (funnel fixes), aged-account & follower sellers.
Metrics/KPIs
- Spam baseline: ~1,000 DMs per signing; ~1% reply rates on agency accounts; G2G reply rate "insane" by comparison.
- Account setup: 20–40 posts minimum, 20–50K bought followers, 200–300 follows.
- Week 1: 50+ leads, 10–20 openers, 3 A/B variants. Daily: 5–10 new openers, 30–60 min total.
- Pain quantification example: $5K/mo → $50K/mo potential (~$45K/mo gap).
- Follow-up converts ~half of initially uninterested leads.
- Timeline: rapport 1–3 days; sign a 50K-follower creator in 5–6 days of casual messaging; re-approach "no" creators after 2 weeks.
