03 — B2B / Network Outreach (Creator Acquisition System)
Core idea
Turn people adjacent to creators (bouncers, photographers, club promoters, influencers, struggling agencies, personal network) into paid referral partners instead of cold-DMing creators directly. Referral-signed creators convert at far higher rates because they arrive with borrowed trust, and this channel reaches creators who never reply to DMs. The speaker signed most of his creators through referrals.
Key concepts/frameworks
- Referral partner pool (~12 example types, expandable to ~50): bouncers, club promoters, club owners, photographers, videographers, influencers (any niche, incl. lifestyle/business pages), female friends, past dates, ex-girlfriends, friends with large female social circles, influencers with creators in their DMs, struggling/overwhelmed agencies (buy their unused inbound leads or unfocused creators, paying flat fee or revenue %).
- Volume rule: expect ~1 in 10 partners to be interested (speaker: 2 of 10 bouncers agreed, yielding 15–20 creator referrals, of which ~2 made real money). One partner is never enough.
- KISS offer: single, simple, instantly understandable payout (e.g. "$1,000 if she stays 1 month"). Avoid tiered/complex offers — complexity kills the deal.
- Two deal structures:
- A) Fixed payment after 1 month of retention — for partners with no influence over retention (bouncers, promoters).
- B) Monthly revenue share (e.g. 10% of first 3 months; 20% of first 6 months if your numbers are small) — for partners who actively influence retention (photographers, friends making personal recommendations).
- 4-question approach prep: (1) their likely objections, (2) do they trust you, (3) how much can they influence creator sign-up/retention (calibrate deal to this), (4) where do referrals funnel to (your Instagram/website/Telegram must look professional, with case studies).
- Objection examples: photographers fear reputational damage with clients; influencers need discretion (no DM leaks); bouncers fear job risk — keep their ask minimal (just share your contact/IG).
- SOP-after-deal ("start, don't stop"): the deal is the beginning — hand partners a written SOP on how to pitch, who qualifies, and how to hand off. Partners are bad at communicating your value unless taught.
Action items
- [ ] List everyone in your network fitting the partner types; go through your entire phone contact list for influencers/girls with followings.
- [ ] Reach out by email/Instagram/DM; propose a short call ("partnership deal, 5 minutes?").
- [ ] For each prospect, write down their objections and prepare counters (testimonials, case studies, a creator joining the call).
- [ ] Pitch the simple offer: fixed $ after 1-month retention, or % rev share for influential partners.
- [ ] Approach struggling agencies: buy their unsold/unused inbound leads or unfocused creators for flat fee or % of earnings.
- [ ] Deliver the referral SOP + creator qualification criteria + value-prop talking points to every signed partner.
- [ ] Audit your funnel endpoints (IG, website, Telegram): professional look, case studies, clear CTA.
SOPs/scripts/templates
- Partner referral SOP (hand-off flow): 1) Casually ask the creator how things are going / if they ever wanted to start OF. 2) If interested: "I know an agency, a lot of my clients work with them." 3) Share agency Instagram or website; tell them to reach out for a free consultation/fit check.
- Value-prop script to teach partners: "The agency is professional; we take weight off the creator's shoulders — we do everything the creator usually has to do, so they have more time and more money. The creator doesn't work for us."
- Bouncer pitch: "You don't want to lose your job or spam creators — just refer them to my Instagram; if I sign them, you get paid."
- Fixed-deal framing: "If she stays a month, I pay you — if she leaves after, that's on me."
Tools
- Instagram (outreach + referral funnel endpoint), agency website with case studies, Telegram/WhatsApp (referral hand-off channel).
Metrics/KPIs
- Partner conversion: ~1–2 interested per 10 approached.
- Example fixed payout: ~$1,000 per creator retained 1 month.
- Example rev share: 10% of first 3 months (or 20% of first 6 months if creators earn only $1–2k/mo early); 10% of 3 months at $20k total = $2k to partner for one WhatsApp message; speaker's creators consistently hit five figures in month 1 → partner sees mid-four-figures.
- Referral yield example: 2 partners → 15–20 creator referrals → ~2 revenue-generating signings.
- Struggling agencies: ~50 inbound leads/month, sign only ~5; 45 leads available to buy.
