FC #7: Using AI as a Marketer to Make 10x More Subs
Core idea
Use Claude as an external, never-forgetting memory ("second brain") for your marketing patterns instead of for idea generation. Feed it the creator's marketing concept, a documented pattern vault, and daily analyses; it then suggests new videos by mixing proven winning patterns. Humans forget winners due to recency bias (48–72 hours); AI doesn't, so the system compounds instead of restarting from zero.
Key concepts/frameworks
- AI augments, not replaces: the marketer using AI replaces the one who doesn't. AI will not invent genius viral ideas — it's an average of the internet. Use it for data analysis and memory, not ideation.
- Pattern vault: per-creator document of every winning hook, content pattern, reward/CTA, and topic from every video outlier (builds on Oliver's weeks 5–6 pattern analysis sheet).
- Pattern mixing: combine at least 2 (max 2–3) winning patterns into a new video — minimum one hook pattern + one content pattern. One pattern alone = just reposting. Mixing two winners creates a "super baby" video that outperforms both (example: "shirt off" hook + "word challenge" content pattern).
- Same target audience check: verify via stats and comments that the two source videos reached the same audience (e.g., viral in India vs. US perform wildly differently) before mixing.
- Self-updating vault: daily analyses get dropped into the Claude project; Claude flags overperformers, forces you to reflect on why, retires dead patterns, adds new winners.
- Garbage in, garbage out: AI produces nothing without real data (marketing concept, positioning, angles, past pattern analyses, daily analyses).
- Don't overcomplicate: no dashboards or random tools; start with one Claude Project per creator. Advanced users can move to Claude Code / Claude Cowork (Cowork is more credit-efficient than chat).
Action items
- [ ] Fill out the pattern vault for every creator (hooks, content patterns, rewards/CTAs, topics for every video outlier).
- [ ] Subscribe to Claude Max ($100/mo); create one Claude Project per creator.
- [ ] Paste the provided system prompt into each project so Claude understands the pattern-mixing job.
- [ ] Feed the project: creator marketing concept, target group, positioning, angles, all past pattern analyses, daily analyses, your own notes/SOPs.
- [ ] Install Whisper Flow; dictate inputs (3–4x faster than typing), including morning daily analysis.
- [ ] Build today's/tomorrow's content idea list as usual, then run each idea through Claude one video at a time: explain why this video, break into parts (hook, content, topic, engagement, aesthetics), apply its improvement suggestions.
- [ ] After a video performs, send Claude the stats and which pattern worked so it updates the vault.
- [ ] Only mix patterns from the same target audience; keep mixes to 2–3 patterns.
- [ ] Be picky/perfectionist at first about why/what/how Claude outputs; scale usage only once it works for you.
- [ ] Optionally have Claude build a knowledge base (e.g., on hooks) in Markdown: "I want to build a knowledge base about hooks. Here are my notes — ask me questions until you understand," then iterate back and forth.
SOPs/scripts/templates
- Two files are shared in the group/members area: (1) the pattern vault template (same as Oliver's earlier sheet), (2) the Claude Project prompt. Content not quoted verbatim in the transcript.
- Knowledge-base prompt: "Mr. Claude, we want to build a knowledge base about hooks. I'm going to tell you everything and you're going to ask me all the questions you need to understand. Let's create a knowledge base. Here is my notes. Ask me questions."
- Video review breakdown template: for each idea, decompose into hook, content, topic, engagement, aesthetics; then take Claude's suggestions.
Tools
- Claude (Max plan, $100/mo) — per-creator projects as pattern memory + video suggestion engine; never runs out of credits on Max.
- Claude Code / Claude Cowork — advanced alternatives to chat; Cowork is more credit-efficient.
- Whisper Flow — voice dictation for faster input (3–4x faster than typing).
- Pattern vault sheet — spreadsheet of winning patterns per creator.
- Oliver AI / Hermes bot (Cloudbot) — cited as proof of the memory concept: remembers every call and decision.
Metrics/KPIs
- Case study: head of marketing using this workflow increased paid subs 73% (~70%) with no other changes.
- Claimed potential: double subs if done correctly.
- Benchmark: if you can't recall 10+ winning patterns off the top of your head, you're being outperformed.
- Cost: $100/mo per creator vs. substantially more subs — framed as a no-brainer.
- Recency bias window: humans only remember what worked in the last 48–72 hours.
- Dictation speed: 3–4x faster than typing.
